Noronha: Brazilian paradise
Declared by Unesco World Heritage Site, the Pernambuco state government implemented a strict policy of preservation.

The daily population size is restricted to 120, not allowing more than 465 tourists to stay together and be paid a rate of environmental protection which considerably increases day by day.

For the 2,400 local inhabitants, the rules are less rigid. The use of vehicles is limited to a few buggies and trucks and for some time, were banned within Noronha births to avoid the production of natural rights of residence.

Bahia do Sancho is the main beach. It is accessed by a stairway descending vertically embedded in the rock. At the base of the hill is a unique freshwater waterfall and warm. Read the rest of this entry »
