The ancient Acropolis of Lindos on the island of Rhodes, was one of the major cities of the island. Were Lindos, Camire and Ialisos the three cities of the island, according to Homer, participated in the Trojan War. And it was in 408 BCE when the three cities came together to form the current Rhodes.

Lindos is a historical monument to maintain its conservation, it means that every day can be visited by numerous national and international tourists can not help but be amazed at its natural acropolis, which was rebuilt and reinforced many times by different peoples occupied it, and the beautiful beaches that surround it.

The city has some of the most important monuments of the island, as the castle of XIII century and the Temple of Athena Lindia 100 BC, but for which the best preserved remains dating from the time of Cleobulus, already the s.VI.
