Antim Church in Bucharest
Bucharest is a city that surprises have hundreds of special places for every type of tourist or visitor. One such place is without doubt the Antim Church, one of the few houses of worship that belong to the period before the communist state that ruled Romania in the second half of the twentieth century.

Although many people believe otherwise, the Communists respected part of the religious buildings and cultural centers of great historical depth. In this sense, the Orthodox Church, whose address is Mitropolia Antim Ivireanu at number 29, was one of the few buildings that remained standing in the area near the palace of the Romanian Parliament, after the decision of the dictator Nicolae rehabilitate Ceacescu that part of the city civic center.

The church of Antim, whose plant is in the form of a cross and that actually belongs to a monastery complex with several buildings, represents an architectural treasure for the citizens of Bucharest, as, although not spectacular, its pictorial decoration in certain areas even too heavy, a lot of attention.
